Reading Workshop: Reading log reflection.  Introduction to The Great Gilly Hopkins test questions.

* HOMEWORK: Today students received the test questions for The Great Gilly Hopkins.  This was a text we read aloud in class.  We strongly encourage students to take home their book and practice writing their responses.  This test will be on Wednesday.

Writing Workshop: Tug of War: Should schools be year round?  Write about both sides using evidence.

Word Study: Spelling Test Friday

Math: Play 3C Round & Add Tenths and explore expanding notion with decimals.

*Homework purple packet Unit 3 Module 2: Due Wednesday, February 22nd.

Social Studies:  Chapter 3: Review & take final assessment on their region.

**HOMEWORK: Students are bringing home their first Learning Feed Back Document (LFD) and their portfolio.  Please take the time to fill out the reflection with your child.  All portfolio's are to be return by Friday, February 3rd.

Students played games with Book Buddies, free played and designed or created new inventions today.  What an amazing day.
