ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Keep bringing in those raffle tickets for The Seuss Fair!

  • This link will lead you to practice M-STEP problems. Fifth graders will take the M-STEP in April.

MATH
Barber:  Determining how to design a single box that can be completely filled with each of the four different packages.   

Brazier: Understanding the relationship between the dimensions of a box and how many rectangular packages fill the box.  

Martinez: CFP.  Corrected mistakes.  Volume investigation.  Volume reflection.
* DPP due date is extended to tomorrow.  Please have your child complete all of the problems they can do on their own.  If they work hard to solve a problem but can’t quite figure it out, it is okay to leave it.  This packet is simply good practice.

READING WORKSHOP
Barber:”Readers hold onto big ideas as they read.”

Brazier: “What can I jot about to raise the quality of our Book Club conversations?”
* ASK: “Summarize the pages you read today in your Book Club book.”

Martinez: “Readers consider the perspective of quiet characters to find big ideas.”
