Next Week (Dec 5th-9th) will be our first Student Council Spirit Week!

Monday - Purple Day - Wear Purple and perform a random act of kindness.
Tuesday - Sports Team Day - Wear your favorite team colors.
Wednesday - Mix and Match Day
Thursday - Teacher Classroom Choice Day - Can be anything the classroom wishes, such as Hat Day, Fancy Day, etc.  Each classroom chooses.  
Friday - Black/White Day - Wear Black or White.

Reading Workshop:  Poetry immersion.

Writing Workshop:  Using rubric to edit/revise personal narrative.
*HOMEWORK (optional): We highly recommend that students take their personal narrative home today to work on it.  It’s not due for another week or so but because students will enter middle school next year, we wanted to stress the importance of responsibility and time management.

Math: Number Corner: Continue double number line practice.  Math: Better Buy problem share & learn the Target Practice fraction game.  

Social Studies: Taking a closer look at the 4 major environments of North America.
*HOMEWORK: Students are asked to bring a small brown paper lunch bag for Friday.
