BE AWARE: SMS (yellow) 6th GRADE SCHEDULE REQUESTS ARE DUE THIS COMING FRIDAY. THEY WERE SENT HOME TODAY.

Brazier-  Tomorrow’s CFP will cover Negative Numbers, Cartesian Coordinates, and Quadrilaterals. To prepare, study the many notes we’ve taken the past few days.

Science: (Teacher - Mrs. Kornas):  WORDMASTER ANALOGY SHEET IS DUE THURSDAY. (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT STUDENTS TAKE ALL THE TIME GIVEN TO THEM AND ALSO USE A DICTIONARY TO LOOK UP WORDS THAT THEY ARE NOT CERTAIN WHAT THE MEANING IS.)


Spelling: (Teacher - Mrs. Barber): Random test on ALL 30 Wordmasters words coming  soon. Be prepared!
HOMEWORK: PERSONALIZED SPELLING TEST ON FRIDAYS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE FOR BRAZIER’S STUDENTS

BARBER: Work day in lab.


BRAZIER: “Writers set short- and long-term goals.”
ASK: DID WRITING WORK FOR YOU TODAY? WHY OR WHY NOT?

KORNAS: Analyze Bike Helmet essay in class.  Computer lab- Persuasive Essay Work - Focus on INTRO PARAGRAPH:  -Did you clearly state your claim? -Do you have a “hook”?  -Did you state your three reasons? -Do you have a closing sentence? THEN think about unpacking your evidence/examples...are you doing that?
