MATH
Barber: Introduction to PEMDAS.  CFR.

Brazier: Computing quotients of decimals to the hundredths place efficiently and accurately. The Meaning of Remainders.
* ASK: “How can you use multiplication to check that 519 ÷ 4 equals 129 R 3?
* HOMEWORK: FINISH “DARE TO DIVIDE DECIMALS!”

READING WORKSHOP

* ASK: “Tell me about the texts you and your partner have read during the past couple of weeks.”

WRITING WORKSHOP
Barber:  Work day

* ASK: “Tell me about a way in which you revised your poem today.”

Martinez: Peer Revision
HOMEWORK: Students are to revise their poem on their own and then with an adult at home.  Please use the white “Poetry” sheet as a guide.
