MATH

Barber: Create a class study guide for CFP.  Review Standard Algorithm and play math games.
* CFP ON THURSDAY (Topic: Multiplying Whole Numbers)

Brazier: Multiplication Situations (Unknown Factor; Unknown Product; etc.). Daily Practice Problems. The Standard Algorithm. Comparing 3 Multiplication Methods.
* ASK: “Invent a situation where one could arrive at an answer by multiplying 4 * n = 52. Then, solve the problem, mentally if possible, and, later, on paper.”
* CFP ON THURSDAY (Topic: Multiplying Whole Numbers)
* SUGGESTED HOMEWORK: “Home Practice”
* STRAND 2 DPP DUE ON FRIDAY

Martinez: Standard Algorithm with 2 by 2 problems.  Sal videos.  Practice.

Barber:  “Writers balance the internal and external parts of their stories.”

Brazier: “Writers answer the question What am I really, really trying to say?” Flash Draft on a Chromebook.
* ASK: “How did it feel to type your whole story in one sitting?”

Martinez: “Writers write multiple drafts for the same story.”
*HOMEWORK: Finish the draft that was started in class today.
