Barber- Went over Monday’s homework practice. Introduced solving multiplication using Partial Product. HW: Page 54&55 problems 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and #22 & #23(must do these two in partial product form).
Brazier- Misc. Challenge Problems. Multiplying (and dividing) with zeros. Partial Product Multiplication (“All-Partials”). Strand 2 DPP packet due on October 31. CFP tomorrow.
HOMEWORK: #22-25 & 35-38 ON PAGE 55 OF THE STUDENT GUIDE. SOLVE USING PARTIAL PRODUCT. DUE TOMORROW.

WRITING WORKSHOPS
BARBER: Looking at PN rubric. Revisit the purpose of using a story mountain. Writers use transition words to show a change in time or place. Practiced this with partners orally.
BRAZIER: “Writers use paragraphs.”
ASK: “Tell me about some places and reasons why you inserted paragraphs into your piece-to-be-published.”
KORNAS: Tape pink writing strategies in WWNB. Computer Lab - Work on typing Personal Narrative onto a Google Document.
