Tuesday October 29th


MATH

Barber- Decimal multiplication practice worksheet.  Students worked independently to practice using compact or partial product and decimals.  

Brazier- Multiplying Decimals With Area. DPP due on Thurs. CFP on Thursday.
HOMEWORK: SG PAGE 251, 2-16 (EVEN-NUMBERED PROBLEMS ONLY)

Kornas - Learn how to write neatly and space math problems appropriately so that work can be easily read and checked. HW-PAGE 55 #35-38 (COMPACT METHOD AND ESTIMATE ON GRAPH PAPER).

HOMEWORK FOR ALL: WEEKLY REVIEW. DUE TOMORROW.

WRITING WORKSHOPS

BARBER:  Writers use drawings to assist in adding details to writing.  Students used laptops to work on typing their PN final draft.  

BRAZIER: “Writers vary the length of their sentences.”
ASK: “What are you doing to make your published personal narrative work?”

KORNAS:  Studied a personal narrative written by a 5th grade student.  Evaluate the lead, transitional words/phrases and the conclusion using the 5th grade rubric.
