SPELLING

Barber: Week 4 spelling words distributed today. Test Thursday on week 2 & 4 words.

Brazier: Test on the last 5 of the 25 Commonly Misspelled Words

* HOMEWORK: DISCUSS THE GOAL YOU SET ON THE BACK OF LOG #3 WITH SOMEONE AT HOME. RETURN THE LOG, SIGNED, ON MONDAY.

Kornas: “Readers pay attention to the way other characters treat the main characters.”

Martinez: ”Readers pay attention to the actions and choices of a character.”


WRITING WORKSHOP
Barber: “Writers step IN and OUT of their stories.”

Brazier: “Writers are storytellers.”
Ask: “Today you told your story to your writing partner. How might storytelling your chosen piece lead to a change in how you write it?”

Kornas: “Writers are storytellers.”
HOMEWORK: P.N. FOLDER IS TO BE COMPLETED BY MONDAY.  BE SURE TO REFER TO CHECKLIST THAT WAS HANDED OUT IN CLASS FRIDAY.
