MATH
Barber: Determining the relationship between the number of cubes that fill a rectangular box and the dimensions of the box.

Brazier: Determining the relationship between the number of cubes that fill a rectangular box and the dimensions of the box.
* ASK: Today, you predicted how many interlocking cubes would fit inside certain boxes (rectangular prisms). You then built the boxes and, finally, used cubes to check your predictions. DId your predictions start to improve as you kept building? Have you thought about a way you could predict the number of cubes that would fit in any box? [NOTE TO PARENTS: Please don’t supply formulas at this beginning stage of the unit!]

Martinez: Adding fractions with pictures and using an algorithm.
