Text books are available for checkout for students to bring home to study.
Parents: The students are being introduced to many new vocabulary words and concepts in this unit. I HIGHLY recommend that students REVIEW newly learned content at home each day. This will help students prepare for assessments as they go, rather than waiting to study the night before.
Spelling: (Teacher - Mrs. Barber): Students are responsible for reviewing the spelling of the Word Masters words 1-15! SPELLING TEST THURSDAY!
Social Studies: (Teacher - Mrs. Barber): Chapter 5 test!
WRITING WORKSHOPS
BARBER: Essayists PROVE their reasons. Students work on evidence to support reasons. All students should have a Claim and 3+ solid “reasons.”
BRAZIER: Work Day
ASK: “WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU’RE WORKING ON AS A WRITER?”
KORNAS: H.W. - Opposing view of your topic on your card. Claim and reasons on T-chart.
