Reading: (Teacher - Mr. Brazier): Strategies for answering “cross-text” questions.
Science: (Teacher - Mrs. Kornas): Lung Capacity - Activity 5B
Text books are available for checkout for students to bring home to study.
Parents: The students are being introduced to many new vocabulary words and concepts in this unit. I HIGHLY recommend that students REVIEW newly learned content at home each day. This will help students prepare for assessments as they go, rather than waiting to study the night before.
Spelling: (Teacher - Mrs. Barber): Continue strategies to study words. Students are responsible for reviewing the spelling of the Word Masters words 1-15! Spelling Test tomorrow.
Social Studies: (Teacher - Mrs. Barber): Create a Headline to best represent one’s explorer. We will begin chapter 6 next Wednesday.
