ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Spirit Week continues tomorrow with Pink Out! (Wear pink.)
  • Tomorrow is a Late Start. The tardy bell will toll at 9:25 a.m.

MATH

  • There will be new math groups on Thursday, the first day of Strand 2.

Brazier - Switch 1: Begin a new batch of Daily Practice Problems (DPP). Function Machines.
* HOMEWORK #1: WEEKLY REVIEW. DUE TOMORROW.

Brazier - Switch 2: Calculate final Strand 1 grade. Begin a new batch of Daily Practice Problems (DPP). Play a game that builds number sense. Play a second game that builds spatial reasoning.

Brazier: “Writers edit their work.” Grammar lessons continue. Construct a rubric as a class for evaluating our first “published” pieces.
* HOMEWORK: EVALUATE YOUR OWN WRITING, USING THE CLASS-CONSTRUCTED RUBRIC. DUE TOMORROW.

Kornas:  “Writers critique their writing.”

Martinez: “Writers carefully craft their ending.”

* HOMEWORK: FINAL DRAFT FOR LAUNCHING UNIT. DUE FRIDAY.
