SPELLING/WORD STUDY
Barber: frequently, raspberry, pneumonia, leisure, argument and 5 additional words.
* TEST TOMORROW

Brazier: Prefixes and Suffixes
* TEST ON FRIDAY: 5 COMMON PREFIXES & 5 COMMON SUFFIXES (see planner)
* ASK: “How does the suffix ‘ed’ change the meaning of a word? Name a word that ends with this affix. What does the word you just said mean with and without this suffix?”

Kornas: Students created their personalized spelling list for this week.
* TEST ON FRIDAY.


MATH

Brazier - Switch One: Strand 6 (3-D Geometry) continues: Conceptualizing Cube Configurations
* ASK: “If you had a box with a volume of 60 cubic units, how many square packages with a height of two units could fit in that box?” (Answer: 7: the volume of the package is 8 cubic units; therefore, 7 whole packages could fit in the box.)
* STRAND 6 TEST ON MONDAY
* HOMEWORK #1: STRAND 6 DPP DUE ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15.
